Here is the email from Mark Willen, who has started a new group in Montgomery County:
As some of you know, one of MWA’s projects is to lead Teen Writers’ Clubs throughout the state. Diane Booth has run very successful clubs for several years, and with her assistance, I am trying to get one going in Montgomery County. I could really use your help in spreading the word to teens who are interested in meeting like-minded teens in a friendly, supportive workshop setting. And once we get the club off the ground, I’ll be looking for guest writers to join us.
The Montgomery club meets Thursdays, from 6:15-7:45, at the Marilyn Priasner Library, 14910 Old Columbia Pike. Burtonsville, MD 20866. If you live anywhere near there, and there is a listserve or anything like that, please use it to spread the word. Anyone with questions can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks in advance for your help.
